Nebraska Adds Transfer Kylee Magee to Pitching Staff

(Lincoln, NE) – Nebraska’s softball team continues to add to the firepower of the pitching staff with the addition of transfer Kylee Magee. The California native formally spent two seasons at Arizona State and will have two years of eligibility remaining for the Huskers.

Magee pitched in 21 of Arizona State’s 48 games as a freshman in 2023 with 20 total starts. She ranked sixth in the Pac-12 with a 3.64 ERA in 75.0 innings pitched, including a pair of shutout games. In conference play, she earned a 2.82 ERA in 39.2 innings. Last season, she was limited to six appearances with an injury in the first week. In that limited time, she was 1-1 on the season with two saves, a 2.86 ERA, and 20 strikeouts in 14.2 innings pitched while allowing no runs.
