(West Des Moines, IA) – As we’re in postseason play, the IGHSAU has released its final Class 1A and 2A rankings for the 2024 softball season. These rankings are compiled by the Iowa Girls High School Athletic Union. The local teams in Class 1A feature Martensdale-St Marys and Wayne remaining in first and second, Earlham sits at #11, Woodbine jumps up a spot to #14, and Griswold sits just at the tip of the rankings at #15. For Class 2A teams, Van Meter stays in first, Audubon continues to sit at fifth, and Interstate-35 goes down two spots to #12. You can check out the entire list of rankings right below.
