(Minneapolis, MN) – Former Iowa State Cyclone Gabe Kalscheur has signed with the Minnesota Timberwolves for the NBA2k25 Summer League, scheduled from July 12-22 at UNLV in Las Vegas.
In his rookie season in the NBA G League, Kalscheur played seven games with the Capital City Go-Go (Washington Wizards) and 14 games with the Iowa Wolves (Minnesota Timberwolves), averaging 3.7 points, 0.8 rebounds, 0.4 assists, and 0.4 steals per game.
At Iowa State, Kalscheur was crucial in leading the Cyclones to two NCAA Tournaments. In his senior year, he earned All-Big 12 Second Team and Big 12 All-Defensive Team honors. He was also named to the NABC All-District 8 Second Team and played in the Reese’s College All-Star Game, where he helped the West Team win.
Over 68 career games at Iowa State, Kalscheur made 57 starts, scored in double figures 33 times, and had nine games with 20 or more points, including a 30-point game against Memphis in the 2021 Upsie NIT Season Tip-Off, where he was named MVP. He averaged 11.2 points, with a career-best 12.9 points per game in his final season.
