(Adair Co) Adair County Sheriff Jeff Vandewater provided an update to the Board of Supervisors this morning on where they are at with storm damage to their facilities.
Sheriff Vandewater said they have a roof engineer coming today and the state had a crane out last Friday to clear debris from the State ISICS tower. Equipment on the tower was damaged by an almost direct hit during the May 21st tornado. Sheriff Vandewater said after inspection, it’s still not quite safe for climbers to be on the tower.
In other news from the Supervisors, the board approved the Fiscal Year 2025 Appropriations Resolution and Transfer Resolution, a resolution to destroy records, the Fiscal Year 2025 wages, and a fireworks permit application for the Adair County Fair.
