(Adair County) – The Adair County Board of Supervisors met on Tuesday to discuss updates of debris removal, maintenance throughout the county, and contract approval with their County Engineer Nick Kauffman.
The board began with a discussion on the approval of contracts for debris removal in the right-of-way. These contracts essentially help to pay people back who have been helping with the recent cleanup after the devastating tornado damage that was suffered in Greenfield. Adair County Auditor, Mandy Berg, provided an insight on what these contracts do for those helping with the cleanup.
Nick Kauffman provided an update with the board to discuss what the course of action will be moving forward to remove the vegetation from the storms.
The County Engineer will also be filling in as an engineer over in Adams County to help out until they are able to find a replacement.
Kauffman’s contract was approved and he will help in both Adair and Adams County in the meantime.
