(Red Oak) The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office responded to a two-vehicle accident on Tuesday evening.
According to the report, the accident happened at 5:40 p.m. in the 1700th Block of Highway 48. A 2021 Nissan Rogue driven by Robert Leslie of Atlantic rear-ended a 2020 Freightliner semi-pulling a grain trailer driven by Robert Zollinger of Elwood, Kansas. No one suffered injuries in the crash.
The Nissan sustained disabling damage. Authorities cited Leslie for following too closely.
Red Oak Rescue and the Red Oak Police Department assisted the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office at the scene.
