(Atlantic) The Atlantic Planning and Zoning Commission will act on a residential building addition and an industrial building addition site plan, update the comprehensive plan, and update the zoning ordinance.
According to Atlantic City Administrator John Lund, Chris Ullerich has submitted a site plan for a 144-square-foot sunroom at 422 Chestnut owned by Janice Kinnison and Rebecca Powers. The area is zoned as a central business district, and a second-floor residential addition would be a permitted use under a zoning ordinance for properties abutting Chestnut Street, north of 7th Street, second story and above: Dwellings: Single Family, two-family, and multi-family. The surrounding properties are all zoned C-3.
Iron Specialties has submitted a site plan for a 7,200-square-foot industrial addition for offices and shop space to an existing industrial building located at 1500 Southwest 7th Street for Tolton Real Estate. The area is zoned as 1-1 or “Light Industrial District,” and offices/shop space would be permitted under section 13.20 of the zoning ordinance, along with contractors’ offices and storage equipment.
The meeting starts at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday in the City Council Chambers at City Hall.
