(Pleasant Hill) The Southeast Polk School District says a high school student jumped from the third floor during lunch on Tuesday in Pleasant Hill.
The student was sent to the hospital and is in stable condition. The school was put in a shelter-in-place while the paramedics issued aid to the student. The district says counseling support will be today for students who saw the incident.
The district serves more than 7,000 students from kindergarten through 12th grade.
