(Clarinda) The Page County Sheriff’s reports nine arrests and investigated two accidents in the latest arrest and incident report issued on Saturday, January 27. The arrests, bookings, and accidents are posted below.
1/16/2024-Robert Charles Harvey II (60) of Omaha, Nebraska. Booked into the Page County Jail on a warrant for failure to appear and arrested by the Page County Sheriff’s Office at the Douglas County Nebraska Jail.
1/16/2024- Nicholas Ryan Pruett (33) of Clarinda, Iowa. Booked into the Page County Jail for violation of a no contact order.
1/17/2024-Carmen Nicole Glidden (30) of Shenandoah, Iowa. Booked into the Page County Jail for child endangerment.
1/18/2024-Joshua Michael Culley (20) of Shenandoah, Iowa. Booked into the Page County Jail to serve time.
1/18/2024-Jeremy Alex Hansen (39) of New Market Iowa. Booked into the Page County Jail to serve time.
1/18/2024-Matthew Ross David Buckridge (44) of Omaha Nebraska. Booked into the Page County Jail for forgery and theft.
1/19/2024-Karl James Shade III (38) of Shenandoah, Iowa. Booked into the Page County Jail for unlawful possession of prescription drugs and possession of a controlled substance on a second offense.
1/19/2024-Brent Allen Neal (35) of Shenandoah, Iowa. Booked into the Page County Jail to serve time.
1/21/2024-Larry Leroy Schutt (37) of New Market, Iowa. Booked into the Page County Jail for OWI first offense. A charge is merely an accusation, and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
*No one was hurt in a two-vehicle accident on January 17. The report said the accident happened on Highway 2 and George Crawford Drive. William Howard Mintzer was westbound on Highway 2 and driving slower due to road conditions. Another westbound vehicle driven by Grant Lee Plowman attempted to pass Mintzer in the slow lane. Mintzer attempted to merge into the slow lane to allow Plowman to pass. Both hit mirrors, causing damage to Mintzer’s vehicle. Plowman finished passing Mintzer and merged back into the westbound lane. Plowman slammed on his brakes, and Mintzer could not stop and struck Plowman’s vehicle.
*No one suffered injuries in a single-vehicle crash on January 19 in the 2100 block of M Avenue. Andrew Michael York was driving northbound on M Avenue and 220th Street, lost control due to the roadway conditions, entered the ditch, and struck a road sign.
