(Creston) Creston Police arrested two people for contempt and violating a no-contact protective order.
Police took 26-year-old Miranda Marie Campbell, homeless, and 26-year-old Ryan Michael Barker, of Waverly, on Monday afternoon.
Officers transported Campbell to the Union County Jail and later to the Adams County Jail. She was released on her recognizance on the charge and is awaiting extradition to the Polk County Jail on a Polk County Warrant for Domestic Abuse Assault-Injury or Mental Illness 1st Offense.
Police transported Barker to the Union County Jail and released him on his own recognizance.
