(Atlantic) Atlantic hosts Harlan and Denison-Schleswig in a double-dual wrestling meet tomorrow evening. The Cyclones are 3-1 in the Hawkeye Ten Conference Dual Standings, Denison-Schleswig is 2-0, and Atlantic is 2-2.
Atlantic Head Coach Tim Duff says his squad built base conditioning over the holiday break, focused on their technique and looks forward to returning to the mat tomorrow night. Coach Duff says the meet tonight features three reasonably even teams.
Coach Duff says in a close dual, it comes down to bonus points, and his squad, with some open weights in the middle of the lineup, need to earn some of those points to be successful.
Coach Duff says Denison-Schleswig is much improved this season.
Duff says like the Monarchs, the Cyclones have some quality opponents led by new Head Coach Adam Bendorf.
Harlan and Denison-Schleswig will square off at 5:30 p.m., followed by Atlantic and Denison-Schleswig. The Cyclones and the Trojans will face off in the third match of the evening. We will have the broadcast on 95.7 F.M. and live video-streamed on westerniowatoday.com.
