(Council Bluffs) Council Bluffs Police have identified the driver in a fatal vehicle vs pedestrian crash that occurred on December 24th.
The crash happened near the intersection of Poplar Dr. and Birch St. in Council Bluffs at 3:21 a.m. A 74 year old male was near a vehicle on the street and was struck by a passing vehicle. The male party was declared deceased at the scene.
The driver, 47-year-old Angela H. Thurman, of Pacific Junction, was not injured.
The investigation is ongoing and no charges have been filed at this time.
