(Fremont Co) The Fremont County Sheriff’s Office arrested 37-year-old Isaac Calvin Hayes, of Farragut, on December 19th after Deputies were called to a disturbance. It is alleged that Hayes threatened to stab the victim. During the arrest, it is alleged that Hayes headbutted a Deputy. The Deputy was injured.
Hayes was charged with Harassment 1st Degree, Assault on an Officer, Domestic Abuse 2nd Offense and Interference with Official Acts. Hayes was held at the Fremont County Jail on $5,000 cash/surety bond for Fremont County and $5,000 cash/surety bond out of Page County for Probation Violation.
The Fremont County Sheriff’s Office also reports that on December 14th, Deputies took a report of an identity theft that occurred in Hamburg. Deputies learned that the victim’s identity was used to gain credit and items at multiple locations, including a business in West Des Moines. Two suspects were identified in the case. On December 15th, Deputies with the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office Attempted to stop the suspect vehicle in Nebraska and the vehicle continued eastbound, stopping in Pottawattamie County. Fremont County Deputies, with the assistance of the Council Bluffs Police Department and the Iowa State Patrol, arrested 28-year-old Rafael Hildalgo Cruz and 31-year-old Erick Montero De La Rosa, both of New York, New York. A search warrant was conducted on the vehicle and over $7,000 in stolen property was recovered. Both were released after posting $10,000 cash bond. More charges are pending in the case.
Curtis Mark Karnes, 59, of Kansas City, Missouri, was arrested on December 17th for Possession of a Controlled Substance (Cocaine), Possession of a Controlled Substance (Methamphetamine), Unlawful Possession of a Prescription Drug, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and Fugitive from Justice. Karnes was held on $3,000 cash bond and a $10,000 warrant out of the state of Kansas.
Justin Lynn Turner, 29, of Shenandoah, was arrested December 14th for Failure to Register as a Sex Offender 2nd Offense. He was held at the Fremont County Jail on $5,000 cash/surety bond as well as on a no bond warrant out of the State of Missouri.
A Glenwood man was charged with Operating While Intoxicated and Interference with Official Acts. On December 22nd, Deputies were called to the Randolph State Bank for an ex-employee harassing staff. Upon arrival, Deputies found 41-year-old Brandon Scott Marriott in the parking lot of the business. During the incident, Marriott fled the scene and was stopped in the 3300 block of 120th Street. Marriott was placed under arrest and later released on his own recognizance. More charges are pending.
Christopher Merle Powe, 37, of Bellevue, Nebraska, was arrested December 24th for Violation of a No Contact Order. He was released on his own recognizance.
Dyston Patrick Tobin, 32, of Sidney, was arrested December 25th for Proving False Identification Information to law enforcement. He was released on $300 bond.
