(Atlantic) With some momentum, the Atlantic boy’s basketball team heads back to practice during the holiday break. The Trojans ended the pre-holiday schedule with two consecutive wins.
Atlantic Head Coach Dalton Franken says they will add some wrinkles offensively and tighten things up defensively to get ready for the second half of the season.
Franken says the players who challenge their starting teammates each day had their best practice last week, which showed in both outcomes.
Franken says the backup players are giving the effort, are a lot of fun, and enjoy working with them.
The Trojans open the second half of the season on January 2 at home as part of a girl/boy doubleheader. The games will be broadcast on 95.7 F.M. and live video-streamed on westerniowatoday.com.
