Nancy devoted her life to helping her family and community. Her actions were purposeful and unwavering, and she will be remembered for her kindness and compassion. As a proud mother and a devoted grandmother, she dedicated herself to caring for and loving her family. She was an active part of her three sons’ lives, helping to mold the men they would become. Among her many joys in life were her grandchildren, and although she loved all of them fiercely, she was particularly close to Madison and Eden, who brought her immense happiness and filled her home with joy and laughter.

After several years, she decided to challenge herself and enrolled in Iowa Western Community College and later Buena Vista College, where she earned a bachelor’s degree in Accounting. Nancy utilized her degree and talents in various ways, including working for Olsen Fuel, Cass County Memorial Hospital, and for St. Paul Lutheran Church.
