(Atlantic) On Saturday, the Atlantic Wrestling Team finishes the pre-Christmas Holiday schedule at the Eddyville-Blakesburg-Fremont Dual Tournament.
Atlantic Head Coach Tim Duff says they had a couple of team wins over OABCIG and Woodbine on Tuesday, at Woodbine.
The Trojans finished the night, falling short to Logan-Magnolia, but Coach Duff was not disappointed in the Trojan’s effort.
Coach Duff says they have now turned their attention to the Eddyville-Blakes-Fremont duals. The Trojans face off against Des Moines, East, followed by a matchup against Eddyville-Blakesburg-Fremont and Mediapolis.
Coach Duff says Columbus-Junction is in the dual tourney, I-35, and the Southeast Polk Junior Varsity. Coach Duff says his squad is a little short on numbers, so they will not be the favorites, but he is looking forward to some solid individual performances. The tournament starts at 9:30 a.m.
