(Audubon) Audubon Mayor Barb Jacobsen proclaims Sunday, December 17 as firefighter remembrance day in honor of firefighter Chaplain Dan Beattie and all other firefighters who dedicated their lives to protecting the community. Jacobsen asks that you lower your flags at 8:00 am on Sunday, December 17 until Monday at 8:00 pm. A memorial service will be held at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church in Audubon at 2:00 pm. Funeral service is at 10:30 am on Monday in Elsworth.
