Let’s Make Them Smile Event Raises Record Amount for Atlantic Police Department Christmas Programs

(Atlantic) The “Let’s Make Them Smile” Fundraising event raised $11,270 for the Atlantic Police Department Christmas Programs.

Mark Foegen, Owner of the Fireside Lounge in Atlantic and Co-Chair of the event, said this is the most they have ever raised.

Foegen said they started the fundraising events back in October.

Foegen said this annual event began 13-years ago.

The Atlantic Police Department Reserve Unit’s “Family Dreams Christmas” program will be held on Saturday, December 16th. The Atlantic Police Department’s “Shop with a Cop” program is Sunday, December 17^th.
