(Adair Co) A Greenfield man had his probation revoked and original sentence imposed.
According to court records, 41-year-old Dustin Brian Benge was convicted of the following crimes: Dominion/Control of Firearm/Offensive Weapon by a Felon – sentenced to a term not to exceed five years; Possession of a Controlled Substance (Methamphetamine) 2nd Offense – sentenced to a term of no more than two years; Tampering with a Witness – sentenced to no more than two years. All terms were set to run concurrent. Benge appeared in Court last Friday for Probation Revocation Proceedings. It was found that Benge violated the terms and conditions of his probation and he was ordered to serve the sentence imposed under separate order.
In other activity, the Adair County Sheriff’s Office arrested 44-year-old Ryan James Cook, of Anita, on December 9th for Violation of Probation. He was held on no bond.
