(Des Moines) If you dream of a white Christmas, the odds are against you.
“If you are looking for snow, it does not look like things are stacking up in your favor,” said Allan Curtis with the National Weather Service in Des Moines. Curtis tells KSOM/KS95 News that even though the forecast is outside the 14-day, the chance for snow does not look good. “As we look out two weeks plus, the weather still looks warm and dry,” said Curtis. “The weather can change here and there, but if we were setting betting lines, I would not be looking for a white Christmas.”
The seven-day forecast shows above-normal temperatures and no precipitation. The temperatures range from 45 degrees today, 35 on Tuesday, 42 on Wednesday, 49 on Thursday, 49 on Friday, 50 on Saturday, and 51 on Sunday.
