(Monticello) A man accused of killing an Eastern Iowa grocery store employee last month is pleading not guilty. Thirty-eight-year-old Nathan Russell is accused of shooting Aaron McAtee as he stood outside the Monticello Fareway on November 7th in what police say was a random act of violence. Shortly after the shooting, Russell was chased into Delaware County and shot by a sheriff’s deputy.
