(Harlan) The Shelby County Sheriff’s Office released the following arrests from November 16 through November 29.
November 16-Crystal Jean Oliver, age 31, Harlan, IA, was arrested following a motor vehicle accident in the 2100 block of Rd M36. Oliver was transported to the Shelby County Jail and charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance, 2nd offense, Keeping Premises or Vehicle for a Controlled Substance, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, OWI 1st, and Failure to Maintain Control.
November 17 Arrests:
*Rodney Craig Musich, age 58, Kimballton, IA was arrested on an active Shelby County Warrant. Musich was transported to the Shelby County Jail and charged with Trespass 1st offense.
*Philip Brian King, age 30, Harlan, IA, was charged with Burglary 3rd after an ongoing Burglary investigation.
*Dilynn John Ristau, age 22, Preston, MN, was arrested following a traffic stop in Harlan, IA. Ristau was transported to the Shelby County Jail and charged with Possession of Controlled Substance Marijuana 1st, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
November 18-Guillermo Dominic Hernandez, age 24, Denison, IA was arrested on an active Shelby County Warrant. Hernandez was transported to the Shelby County Jail and charged with Failure to Appear.
November 19 Arrests:
*Nyagach Dech Chigach, age 23, Harlan, IA was arrested following a call for service in the 500 block of 12th St. in Harlan, IA. Chigach was transported to the Shelby County Jail and charged with Violation of No Contact Order.
*Simon Buombiey Jacob, age 34, Harlan, IA was arrested following a call for service in the 500 block of 12th St in Harlan, IA. Simon was transported to the Shelby County Jail and charged with Violation of No Contact Order.
November 20-Darin Lee Turner, age 49, Harlan, IA was arrested following a traffic stop near Cyclone Ave and 19th St in Harlan, IA. Turner was transported to the Shelby County Jail and charged with OWI 1st.
November 21 Arrests:
*Drew Ashton Gagnon, age 31, Red Oak, IA was arrested on an active Shelby County Warrant for Violation of Probation.
*Laura Ann Traufler, age 46, Harlan, IA was arrested following an investigation. Traufler was transported to the Shelby County Jail and charged with Theft 2nd, Possession of Controlled Substance 3rd or Subsequent Offense, and Possession of Controlled Substance Marijuana 3rd or Subsequent Offense.
November 22 Arrests:
*Douglas Duane Curtis, age 58, Harlan, IA was arrested following a traffic stop in the 1200 block of Hawkeye Avenue Harlan, IA. Curtis was transported to the Shelby County Jail and charged with Driving Under Suspension and Interference with Official Acts.
*Bryan Joseph Schuemann, age 37, Harlan, IA was arrested following a traffic stop in the 1100 block of Willow St. Schuemann was transported to the Shelby County Jail and charged with Driving Under Suspension, Keeping Premises of Vehicle for Controlled Substance, Possession of Controlled Substance Marijuana 3rd or Subsequent Offense, Possession of Contraband in Correctional Institution, and Failure to Provide Proof of Financial Liability.
November 25-Craig John Stork, age 53, Harlan, IA was arrested following an investigation of a possible motor vehicle accident in the area of 7th and Court St in Harlan, IA. Stork was transported to the Shelby County Jail and charged with OWI 1st.
November 26-Avery Jon Zenk, age 22, Denison, IA was arrested on an active Shelby County Warrant for Domestic Abuse Assault. Zenk was transported to the Shelby County Jail.
November 27-Brandon Glenn Billings, age 40, Harlan, IA was arrested following a traffic stop in the 1200 block of College Blvd in Harlan, IA. Billings was transported to the Shelby County Jail and charged with Driving while License is Revoked, and Failure to Provide proof of Financial Liability.
November 29 –Gerard August Rueschenberg, age 69, Harlan, IA was arrested on an active Shelby County Warrant for Failure to Appear. Rueschenberg was transported to the Shelby County Jail.
