(Sidney) A Nebraska man died in a single-vehicle crash in Fremont County over the weekend.
The Fremont County Sheriff’s Office says the accident happened at 3:52 p.m. on Saturday in the 2400 block of 160th Street east of Thurman. Authorities say 46-year-old David Hanser of Murray, Nebraska, died from injuries suffered in the crash. Three male occupants, 19 years of age, a 20-year-old, and a 28-year-old, were transported to local hospitals with unknown injuries.
According to the report, the jaws of life were used to extricate Hanser from the van. He was transported to an Omaha Trauma Center, where he succumbed to his injuries.
Tabor Fire and Rescue, Sidney Fire and Rescue, and Thurman Fire assisted the Fremont County Sheriff’s Office at the scene.
