(Atlantic) The Cass County Board of Supervisors received the annual report and request for funding from West Central Community Action Tuesday morning.
Wendy Mueller requested the same amount of funding from the board as last year, which is $4,500.
Some of the services provided by West Central Community Action include Head Start, Early Head Start, Child Care Resource and Referral, Child and Adult Care Food Program, Weatherization, LIHEAP, and Family Development and Self Sufficiency Program.
582 households and 1,235 individuals were serviced in Fiscal Year 2023 in Cass County. $1,321,836 in total dollars for services were provided by WCCA for Cass County.
The Supervisors took no action on the request at Tuesday’s meeting.
