(Atlantic) – Down at the Family Dental Center in Atlantic, Dr. Chet Meneely and his staff are offering free dental care to veterans in honor of Veteran’s Day over the weekend. Dr. Meneely said that the program started a few years ago when they were trying to find a group that they could reach out to, and has continued to be successful every year.
This year, the Family Dental Center continues to offer free cleanings, and the spots have only continued to fill up at the clinic.
Dr. Meneely does not have a personal connection to veterans but realizes that what he and his staff are doing means a lot to them as they are not only helping out veterans, but their community.
The Family Dental is continuing to do very well right on the corner of Poplar Street as they have even begun an expansion next door from where the old food pantry was formally located.
Dr. Meneely thanks veterans for their service and is proud to offer his services back to them right in the heart of Atlantic.
