Steven Lynn Vodenik, 71, of Perry died at his home on October 30, 2023. A Celebration of Life / Visitation will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, November 3, 2023 at Hastings Funeral Home in Perry. Burial will take place in the Violet Hill Cemetery.
Steve’s family is wearing flannel shirts and jeans because that is what Steve loved to wear when there was a chill in the air. They will be at the Hastings funeral home in Perry Iowa at 1:00 pm then will go out to the cemetery around 2:00 pm and then will return to the Hastings funeral home for a lunch later they will go to the Elk lodge for drinks everyone that wants to go is welcome.

Steven is survived by his wife Kathy, son Shawn Vodenik of Bondurant, daughters Stacy Grove (Aaron) of Louisburg, Kansas and Kelsey Vodenik-Parmenter (Eric) of Ankeny, six grandchildren, sister Keela Gilliland (Bud) of Perry and sister-in-law Peggy Carey of Irvine, California.
