(Sergeant Bluff, IA) – The Warriors are looking to bring the elements of their last win over Sioux City West to the game against the Cyclones tonight. When you take a look at Sergeant Bluff-Luton, they looked like a whole new team in week three as they shut out the Wolverines 49-0. With a fundamentally sound football team in week four, Head Coach Justin Smith is looking to carry that into tonight.
Zayvion Ellington had a huge impact in the rushing game last week as he rushed for 244 yards and earned five touchdowns in the game. His effort was impactful in their last win alongside his stellar offensive line.
The Warriors are going to take on a tough team of Harlan tonight, a team that the Warriors have not seen a victory against since 2019. Harlan is a quick team on the field while moving their athletes to different positions while succeeding on every level. The Warriors are looking to move the success in their direction.
They will also be matching up against a tough Harlan defense that allows 289 yards a game but has only allowed 18 points per game. The Warriors are going to have to come into the game tonight with a warrior-like mentality.
Coach Smith is looking for everybody to step up against Harlan as the Cyclones are going to be one of the toughest opponents that they have seen yet.
Sergeant Bluff-Luton will travel to Harlan to match up against the Cyclones tonight at 7:00 p.m. KSOM will be LIVE for the competition with Zach Collins and Austin West on the call with a pregame show starting around 6:30 p.m.
