(Fremont Co) One person was killed and two others were injured in an accident in Fremont County Saturday evening.
The Iowa State Patrol says 39-year-old Andy Lee Wiese, of Silver City, was pronounced deceased at the scene. 70-year-old Janelle Lois Wiese of Corning and 44-year-old Adam Ryan Wiese of Denison were both transported to UNMC in Omaha by Lifenet.
According to the report, Andy Wiese and Adam Wiese were both operating motorcycles northbound on Bluff Road between 242nd Avenue and 190th Street at around 8:45 p.m. when several deer entered the roadway, causing both drivers to take evasive action. Andy Wiese’s motorcycle sustained a wheel malfunction on the sidecar, causing it to lose control. Andy Wiese and Janelle Wiese were ejected. Adam Wiese’s motorcycle was laid down and he was also ejected.
