(Glenwood) A Glenwood man was transported to the hospital following a hit and run accident Saturday afternoon.
The Glenwood Police Department says 78-year-old Estil Richmond was driving a 2013 Chevrolet Silverado in the area of Hazel and Nuckolls Street when he hit a parked car and kept going. Officers found Richmond’s vehicle several blocks to the south, pulling into a grocery store parking lot. Rescue was called to the location due to Richmond having a medical emergency. Richmond was transported to the Hospital via EMS ground.
The 2022 Subaru Legacy that was struck sustained approximately $5,000 damage. Richmond’s pickup sustained approximately $2,500 damage.
