(St. Louis, MO) — A two-year study conducted by Washington University researchers reveals that COVID is affecting the health of patients even two years after getting the virus. The study compared the health outcomes of over 138–thousand patients who had the virus with six million who hadn’t. They monitored the development of over 80 health conditions and found those who had COVID have a greater risk of developing issues like heart failure, lung conditions, blood clots and diabetes.
