(Atlantic) AtlanticFest, presented by First Whitney Bank & Trust, will be held next weekend on Saturday, August 12th.
Downtown Atlantic will be filled with activities for the whole family including a pancake breakfast, the Annual Road Race, the 25th Annual Car Show, and the 9th Annual Motorcycle Show. There will also be crafters from all over Southwest Iowa, a variety of food vendors, bounce houses, and games. A new event this year is a Bags Tournament, which will be held in City Park. Teams of two cost $50, with a chance to win $200, $300, and up to $500. You can register starting at 10:00 am at the City Park Shelter.
Executive Director at the Atlantic Area Chamber of Commerce, Bailey Smith, shared that AtlanticFest is an annual festival that serves as Fundraiser for the Chamber.
