Caitlin Clark continues to make news as the 21-year-old is making headlines again for being the second-most searched female athlete in the United States. This category is based on the basis of the athlete being under 25 years of age and a popular figure based on the United States internet searches. Clark is behind LSU gymnast Olivia Dunne who has 550,000 U.S. searches, while Clark is in second place with 368,000 searches.
Based on the state, Caitlin Clark leads only in Iowa in searches overall. Lauren Burke, who leads in five states, didn’t even match in the top-ten category. Clark averaged 27.8 points per game, 7.1 rebounds per game while earning 38 steals on the season. The Hawkeyes will be back in action on November 9th in Charlotte, NC to take on the Virginia Cavaliers.
