(Atlantic) The Cass County Board of Supervisors this morning approved a zoning change request following a public hearing.
Ron West requested a change in zoning classification from General Agricultural District to Business District for a parcel of land located on Eagle Avenue in Pymosa Township. West said he wants to start a home-based gunsmithing business.
There were no objections to the zoning change.
The Supervisors also approved allocating ARPA Funds to the CAM School District to Improve Election Polling Place Accessibility for an amount not to exceed $10,000. Deputy Auditor Sheri Karns said they had two polling places in Massena and both were at the Library, but one of the polling locations has been moved back to the Middle School.
Karns said they have the bids on the door, but not on the concrete yet, which is why the amount was set at ‘not to exceed $10,000’.
