(Davenport, IA) — Over ten-thousand Iowans are eligible to have their federal student-loan debt at least partially forgiven in the weeks ahead. The Department of Education says over 465-million dollars worth of student loans statewide will be forgiven. Adjustments to the income-driven repayment plans are making this possible. Eligible borrowers will automatically be notified when their debt has been discharged.
