(Des Moines) Iowa is getting a new slogan and state logo. Governor Reynolds on Tuesday unveiled the state’s new slogan: “Freedom to Flourish.” She says the new slogan aims to attract more businesses to the Hawkeye State. Iowa’s new logo features a large “O” with a white road through a green field leading to a sunrise. The new logo and slogan will be on executive branch letterhead and other places in the department first before eventually appearing along state roadways. It will replace Iowa’s current slogan, “Fields of Opportunities.”
