(Exira-Elk Horn-Kimballton) The Exira-EHK School Board discussed information on the November 7th School Board Election during their meeting Tuesday evening.
Superintendent Trevor Miller said the first day to file nomination papers is Monday, August 28th and the last day to file is September 21st.
The School Board then approved the 2023-2024 Handbooks; the 2023-2024 Fuel Bid with Olsen Fuel; the 2023-2024 meal prices – student prices will be going up 20-cents and the adult prices will go up to $4.84; and the board approved their 2023-2024 legislative beliefs.
The board approved the resignations of Sam Muhr – Associate, and Dara Svendsen – Cheer Sponsor. Trevor Miller said they are still looking for a few paraeducators.
The school board also spent some time on the second/final readings of a number of policies. The next School Board meeting will be held Tuesday, August 22nd.
