(Page Co) Two people were killed in a two-vehicle accident in Page County Tuesday afternoon.
The Iowa State Patrol says 71-year-old Denise James, of Omaha, Nebraska, was driving a 2019 Nissan Sentra westbound on Highway 2 at the 45 mile marker, just west of N Avenue. 78-year-old Sandra Aparo, of Clarinda, was driving a 2019 Nissan Rogue eastbound at the same location. Denise James crossed the center line and struck the Rogue head-on. James and Aparo both died in the accident.
The accident remains under investigation.
