(Des Moines) The National Weather Service is anticipating severe storms across southern Iowa through the morning and midday in south Iowa. Damaging winds will be the primary hazard, though large hail and even a tornado are possible, especially towards southeast Iowa. More stormy weather is expected Friday into Saturday and Sunday. The severity of these storms has not yet been determined.
