Iowa Awarded $415M For High-Speed Internet

(Washington, D.C.)  Iowa is getting more than 415 million dollars from the Biden Administration to expand high-speed internet. The Federal Communications Commission says more than seven percent of the country can’t get the service. The U.S. Commerce Department gives more than 42 billion dollars nationwide through the High-Speed Internet Grant Program, part of the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law. The program hopes to connect every resident and small business to reliable, affordable high-speed internet by 2030.
