(Des Moines, IA) — Governor Kim Reynolds is ordering flags in Iowa to fly at half-staff today to honor Army Corporal White of Ottumwa. White died while a prisoner of war in North Korea in 1951. He returned to Ottumwa for burial after being accounted for through DNA analysis. White was 20 years old when he died as a prisoner of war.
