(Area) Corner Conference Officials released the latest bracket assignments for the Corner Conference Softball and baseball tournaments on June 22 and 23.
With a (6-0) conference record, Fremont-Mills is the number-one seed in the baseball tournament. The Knights draw a first-round bye and play the winner of Griswold and Sidney at Tabor on June 22. Stanton draws a bye on the bottom side of the bracket and plays the winner of Essex and East Mills at Stanton on the 22. The finals will be played at Sidney on Friday, June 23, at 7:30.
Griswold (4-0) in conference play and (16-0) overall is the number #1 seed in the Softball Tournament. The Tigers will play the winner of Stanton and Fremont-Mills at Griswold on Thursday, the 22nd. On the bottom side of the bracket, Essex plays East Mills. The winner squares off against Stanton in the semifinals.
The finals are set for Friday at 5:30 p.m. at Sidney.
