(Exira) The Exira/EHK softball team remains undefeated in Rolling Valley Conference play with a 16-4 win over Boyer Valley on Thursday. The Spartans are 5-0 in the league and 9-1 overall.
Head Coach Andrea Schwery says they started with a few miscues on defense, settled down, and got the bats going. Coach Schwery said they put the ball in play, putting pressure on Boyer Valley’s defense.
Spartans’ pitcher Riley Miller has been a big part of the team’s success.
Coach Schwery says Taryn Petersen is also producing good results for the team.
Exira/EHK has tonight off and plays CAM on Friday night.
Woodbine is 5-1 in Conference play, Glidden-Ralston is 5-2, and CAM is 4-3.
