Montgomery County Man arrested Following Single-Vehicle Accident

(Red Oak) A Red Oak man faces charges following a single-vehicle crash in Montgomery County.

Authorities say 56-year-old Robert Laverne Newell was taken into custody following the accident at 3:45 p.m. on Monday at 200th Street and Fernwood Avenue west of Red Oak. Deputies transported Newell to the Montgomery County Jail and held him on a $1,000 bond.
