(Greenfield) The Adair Police Department arrested three men from Chicago, Illinois, on Interstate 80 following a traffic stop on the evening of May 23. The Officer clocked the car going 75 miles per hour in a 70-mile-per-hour zone near the 76-mile marker. The Police Officer smelled a strong odor of marijuana, leading to the vehicle’s search. During the investigation, the Officer found Heroin, Cocaine, MDMA, marijuana, and Psilocybin mushrooms. The three occupants admitted to smoking Marijuana but denied possessing the other drugs mentioned above. The three men were taken to the Adair County Jail and released after posting the $1,000 bond.
*On May 21, A woman identified as 54-year-old Dianne Marie Ricketts of Perry was arrested in Perry on an Adair County Warrant for Violation of Probation. Rickett’s bond in Adair County was set at $10,000.
*On May 24, Stuart Police arrested 37-year-old David Spencer Reeves, of Stuart, for violating a no-contact order, and criminal mischief, 4th-degree. Authorities held Reeves in the Adair County Jail on a $1,000 bond.
*On May 25, Lee Delmar Goll, of Stuart, an inmate in the Adair County Jail, was charged with three counts of contempt of court for violating a no-contact order. He pled guilty and was sentenced to serve seven days in jail.
