(Creston) Creston Police arrested two people and investigated four incidents.
*Police arrested 40-year-old Mark Anthony Weems, of Creston, Friday, on two Union County Warrants for Burglary 3rd Degree and Theft 2nd Degree. Weems is an inmate at the Union County Jail.
*Creston Police arrested 22-year-old Alejandro Zafra Jimenez of Ames on Saturday at Walmart for 5th–degree theft. Authorities cited and released Jimenez from the scene.
*Creston Police received a report from Dory Schafer that her 2015 Chevrolet Tahoe was damaged while sitting in the Walmart employee parking lot. The damage estimate is $1,000.
*Dawn Miller, of 408 N Maple in Creston, reported that between May 25, at 8:00 p. m. and May 26, at 1:30 pm, her 2008 Chevy Silverado was damaged while sitting in front of her residence. The damage is estimated at $600.
*Melissa Raddatz, 515 W Mills, reported on May 26, between 10:30 am and 6:00 pm, someone stole a pink woman’s bike leaning up against the deck. The loss is estimated at $150.00.
*Nichole Adams, 1301 E Howard, reported two people cut a window screen to gain access to her residence. Adams reports $60 cash taken from a wallet. All other items were dropped while being chased out of the residence.
