(Red Oak) A Red Oak woman faces charges in connection with a two-vehicle accident.
Police say the accident happened at 2:30 p.m. on Tuesday in the 1400 block of Eastern Avenue in Red Oak. Officers arrested 25-year-old Hailey Ann Fada for OWI’ 1st Offense.
According to the report, a 2011 Chevy Malibu driven by Fada traveling north on Eastern Avenue sideswiped a parked 2011 F250 pickup owned by Charles Shipley of Red Oak.
Authorities transported Fada to the Montgomery County Jail and held her on a $1,000 bond. Additionally, Officer’s cited her for failing to maintain control of a motor vehicle.
In two separate cases:
*Red Oak Police arrested 56-year-old John Philip Gekas of Omaha, Nebraska, following a traffic stop near Joy Street and Miller Avenue on Tuesday evening. During the investigation Officer’s found Gekas had an Ida County Warrant for a Contempt of Court charge. Authorities transported him to the Montgomery County Jail and held him on a $300 bond.
*Red Police arrested 40-year-old Elysia Tylene White of Red Oak on Tuesday in the 600 block of North 5th Street on a Montgomery County Warrant for 5th-degree theft. Police transported her to the Montgomery County Jail and held her on a $300.00 bond.
