(Elk Horn) Girls basketball, girls golf, and girls track will be shared by Exira-EHK and Audubon for the next two seasons.
The agreement will be re-evaluated after the first year. Audubon approved their end of the deal on Monday and Exira-EHK followed suit on Tuesday. Here’s Exira-EHK Superintendent Trevor Miller.
Exira-EHK is the host school for basketball and Tom Petersen will be the head coach. The combined enrollment has them projected in Class 2A instead of 1A.
Audubon will be the host school for girls track and details are still being worked out on the golf sharing.
Audubon, IKM-Manning, and Exira-EHK already have a girls wresting agreement in place which will continue.
