(Red Oak) The Hawkeye Ten Conference Track and Field Championships were held Thursday in Red Oak.
The Lewis Central boys scored 134 points and the Glenwood girls tallied 133 to earn championships in the team scoring. The Titans had boys wins from Ethan Eichhorn in the 3200, 800, and 1600. They took first in the Distance Medley and Shuttle Hurdle Relays. Glenwood’s girls title was boosted by relay wins in the 4X100 and 4X800. Danika Arnold won gold for the Rams in the 200.
The Glenwood girls were pushed by Atlantic, which scored 127 points to place 2nd. The Trojans had Ava Rush win the 400 and 800 while Morgan Botos and Chloe Mullenix went 1-2 in the 400M Hurdles. Nicole Middents, Morgan Botos, Chloe Mullenix, and Ava Rush won the Sprint Medley.
The boys runner-up spot was claimed by Glenwood with 107.5 points. They won three events with Reagan Skarnulis (Shot Put), Anthony Driscoll-Lee (110 Highs), and the 4X800.
