(Des Moines) The Iowa Legislative Session is going into overtime. State lawmakers will return to work on Monday, despite April 28th marking the scheduled last day of the session. The Senate made progress on budget proposals this week, passing five spending proposals to the House. Iowa lawmakers are given a stipend for the session, which runs out today, meaning any work done next week is without pay.
