Joyce Bower, 69, of Massena passed away on Thursday, April 12, 2023, at her home surrounded by her family.
Funeral Services: Will be held on Thursday, April 20, 2023, at 10:30 a.m. at the Massena Baptist Church with burial following in the Massena Center Cemetery. A luncheon will be held at the church following the burial. Pastor Josh Heisterkamp will officiate the service. The Lamb Funeral Home in Massena is in charge of the professional arrangements. Open Visitation: Will be held on Wednesday, April 19, 2023, at the Lamb Funeral Home in Massena from 2:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
Family Visitation: The family will greet friends on Wednesday evening at the Lamb Funeral Home in Massena from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
Memorials: May be directed to the Joyce Bower Memorial Fund to be established by the family at a later date.
Survivors: She is survived by her husband, Dwight Bower of Massena; four sons, Chris Bower and wife Amber of Indianapolis, Indiana, Courtney Bower and wife Jana of West Des Moines, Charles Bower of Springfield and Derek Bower and wife Jamie of Massena; nine grandchildren; two sisters, Jeanette Hall and husband Mike of Massena and Jayne Brewer and husband Terry of Oakland; two brothers, Brian Sothman and wife Roxie of Wiota and Jason Sothman and wife Melissa of Ottumwa; other relatives and friends.
